Limerick Interest: A Georgian Brass Bound Campaign Writing Box, with engraved plate "Capt. Maunsell, Royal Navy". Captain Maunsell was the 3rd son of Rev. William Maunsell, Archdeacon of Limerick. He was born in May 1786 and died in August 1845. He served as Commander and Captain of various ships in the Royal Navy from 1808 to 1843. The box requires restoration.
